Dyed Window Film

Dyed film is the most affordable type of window-tinting film. If keeping your car cool and protected is your concern, dyed film will not suit your needs. It does not have the same heat rejecting properties as a ceramic film. Dyed window-tinting film is used primarily for appearance. The Dyed film we carry is Geoshields Pro Classic line.

What Kind Of Warranty Is Provided
All Geoshield films come with a lifetime manufacturer’s warranty, and Delicate Detailing provides a 100% satisfaction guarantee with all of our installs. Your windows will not bubble, fade, or peel over time, guaranteed.
What makes ceramic film better than dyed film?
Ceramic film is a thicker, higher quality film that blocks out infrared heat. Ceramic tint will keep your car cool on those hot summer days, be more resistant to scratches, and have a better color profile compared to dyed films.
What is the darkest legal tint for windows?
In Ohio, the legal limit for the front 2 side windows is 35%, wheras the rear windows can be whatever darkness you desire. Front windshields may not be tinted below 6 inches from the top, but can be any darkness. We do not offer full windshield tints for this reason.
What Kind of Film Do You Carry.
We carry GeoShield Products across the board. We mainly stock Pro Classic Dyed film, and their Pro Nano Ceramic film. We carry 5% (darkest), 20%, 35% & 50% in both of our film lines.
How long does it take to get my windows tinted?
Our #1 goal at Delicate Detailing is to give you a tint job that we’re proud of and that you’ll love and enjoy for years to come. This extra level of attention to detail will mean that we’ll need your car for about 2-4 hours if you’re getting all of the windows tinted. If you’re looking to just do the front two windows, we’ll typically have you in and out of our shop in under 45 minutes.
Window Tinting MAINTENANCE
Drying Period: Your new tint will take about 3-5 days to fully dry and cure – sometimes up to 2 weeks depending on the vehicle, tint type, and weather conditions. During this time, your newly tinted windows may appear hazy, bubbly, or lumpy with water bubbles. Please do not roll your tinted windows down or try to push the water out until it is dry!

Cleaning: Do not use ammonia, scrapers, scrubber pads, or other various chemicals to clean window film. We recommend any cleaning spray clearly labeled “safe for tinted windows” or soap and water and a soft microfiber towel.

Black Dots: Most cars have a black, dotted, ceramic edge on the rear window. These black ceramic dots are thick and prevent the window film from sticking to the area between the dots.
